Mohamed El Hosseny started his career as a musician, then a dancer, in the Suez folklore troupe as a young schoolboy. He joined the state Reda Troupe in 1992, and has since devoted himself to dance.

As a teacher mastering all styles of Egyptian folklore as well as classical and modern forms of Oriental dance, he has an ear for music, and is proud to bring Ya Simsimiyya, Music of Suez Canal towns to the dance community.
