Where Ancient Arabian Melodies Meet Contemporary Grooves to Create the New Heartbeat of the Street. Naked Rhythm was born in LA in 2003 as a collaborative effort between Avi Sills and Alex Spurkel with a vision of mixing ethnic/world grooves and electronica. By seamlessly fusing world music elements with electronic dance beats Naked Rhythm exposes western listeners to the sounds of the Middle-East, India, Africa and South America in a familiar context that is perfect for clubs, radio and festive or cultural events.

Naked Rhythm combines samples, sequences, and live musicians to create a musical form that takes the best from all worlds. Because Alex and Avi are both accomplished drummers there is a heavy emphasis on well crafted, booty-shakin rhythms - a language that is understood all around the world!
